The quickest way to find out what the boundaries of reality are is to figure where they break.
Kevin Slavin at Seed Magazine. What is Reality?
I’m caregiver for my elderly father who is now bedridden. I find little time to reflect because being present is basic. But something that happens is my dad will be grounded in consensus reality, except for one thing—that thing varies. As example he was on about not bothering the cow. I told him there was no cow. He gave a “you got to be shitting me look” and pointed. Then he simply said, “Oh.”
I’m not going to figure out what’s going on with my dad, I know that. But Kevin Slavin’s investigations are so fascinating because he’s looking at the many ways our worlds are created.
