One of my favorite facts is that there are no LEDs in Blade Runner. Neon, florescents, and CRT, but no LEDs. LEDs at that time were too dim for anything other than calculator displays, and even then had to be lensed so they were big enough to see. Blue LEDs didn’t exist until 1994.
