Online support for a Lego set based hugely popular indie video game grows.
A Lego Minecraft project has been submitted to Cuusoo – a website which works with Lego to get community ideas produced.
Projects submitted to Cuusso must get 10,000 votes of support before Lego will consider making the idea a reality.
So far, Lego Minecraft has 3,500 votes after only one day on the site.
Although Minecraft hasn’t been released at retail, the independently developed game has sold millions of copies digitally and has a fanatical community, with over 16 million users registered on its website.
“Minecraft is about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine in the virtual world. You can build anything you imagine with Lego bricks in the physical world. Minecraft and Lego were meant to be together,” said the description on the Cuusoo entry. (via Lego Minecraft coming soon? | Toy Industry | News by ToyNews)
