fixed the offsetting. it was an “order of operations” (mis)behavior or (mis)interpretation. here are the first three and the final pass. it’s more interesting watching it draw each one in succession that each static “finished” pass or version.

here we get to see a hint of a kind of palimpsest effect, the previous drawing influencing the color of the subsequent one. I don’t know how many layers or drawings deep that effect occurs.

the effect allows us to render colors in Hopscotch that are outside of the gamut it gives us. if we were so inclined, we could begin to mix colors by manipulating very small adjacencies.
