Dorothy is an art collective consisting of “like-minded people working on unlike-minded ideas.” Dorothy has worked on numerous diverse projects over the years from conception to completion winning several awards from Design Week, D&AD, and New York Festivals among others. Their “Casualties of War” series are tiny sculptures, but exceptionally powerful. Highlighting the personal hell and anguish experienced by returning soldiers (and their families), Dorothy creates their own version of toy soldiers that captures the turmoil that they face from the devastating effects of war.
