While I was buried in the immigrant mud, I was visiting Alluvia. This Avatar of Alluvia was a live architectural model, spatially identical to the genuine, physical city of Alluvia. The map of the city and the real territory of the city were entirely co-existent. Because of geolocative spatial computing, they were one and the same.

If anything, the augmented Avatar of Alluvia, seen from within my mudbath, was more genuinely Alluvian than the actual, real, tangible Alluvia. The entire town was a special effect.
