This is a cover by Ellen Raskin. I have this book because I have a database of women book designers, which is a really critical field, I think. But Ellen Raskin is a really famous artist and writer and probably doesn’t need the same sort of recovery as a lot of other women designers I document. She wrote a lot of kids’ books and did some really famous covers, including the first edition of A Wrinkle in Time. The first Ellen Raskin cover I ever had was an aesthetic theory reader. She also didthe first releases of To Bedlam and Part the Way Back, which I have and have read and is a treasured part of my life.
I have this book and what if
what if
I read it?
