Metroid Prime with the Oculus Rift
Youtube user Cymatic Bruce has found a way to allow games from older consoles playable with the Oculus Rift headset (3D games which were not designed for this tech). Using emulators and apps, the video below discusses the set-up (jump to around the 10:10 mark to see a little gameplay):
It took a fair bit of effort, but finally one of my VR dreams has come true: Metroid Prime playable in VR! Its a great experience, the low res menus of the game are perfect for the Rift. My Christmas night will be full of morph balls and corridors!
