PRESIDENT FOR A DAY: Video games as youth civic education – Information, Communication and Society
While I’m mentioning things, I might as well mention that I got my first academic article published. It’s an adaptation of my thesis, in which I designed a video game that simulates the process of determining the federal budget and had people play it to see if it would affect their trust in government. (Abstract: It did.) You can read it here if you have access to an institution of higher learning, or you can just e-mail / ask-box me and I’ll send you a copy.
I didn’t know that Barthel was working with videogames? I must give this a look.
