Oh man. I haven’t seen footage from this new camera yet, but I think it might blow the others out of the water. Shrinking down 2.5k oughtta make it a nice, sharp picture, and 13 stops of light range should make it awfully flexible. For $3000.
That’s not even to mention that it shoots straight to ProRes on an included SSD drive, has a Thunderbolt connector, and an awesome interface that writes metadata right to the clip.
Worth watching out for.
