I like the aesthetic of that triplet. It’s alliterative in its syllables, and recombinant at the same time.
The reviewer is a student of film, and sees Massumi as potentially productive for film criticism and film studies. Comparisons and contrasts are drawn to Althusser (interpellation), and to Saussure (semiotics, reduction and (over)simplification of complex organisms and processes)
