Project 1 by Chenghao Lee
This project was inspired by Walter Benjamin’s article, which mentions about the loss of art work’s “aura”. But I think the difference between old times and now is how we see the art works. What has changed is the way we see things. The issue we are facing today is that we can’t easily trust anything. Although the world is full of mechanical reproduction, once you believe, you still can get the “aura”.
Therefore, what I trying to do is to make people rethink the real and fake, and take more attention in to the work it self than the other value.
