code drawing 80, various states, created on or about 2015-07-02. with this drawing I started to discipline the color. for the recent drawings I employed a random color instruction for the lines. the color palette offered by Hopscotch was twenty-four colors, inclusive of black and white, indexed by numbers 0-23. we weren’t told this. we were offered drag and drop color chips from a color picker. there is also an undocumented ability to drop certain operators and variables into slots in blocks, discovered through experimentation. I dropped a random number operator that ranges between 6 and 6, for example, into the color instruction to choose between two adjacent colors in the palette. in this case choosing between magenta and a pastel approaching red.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
