Contrary to popular teacher methods that focus on shaping the path of a student\u2019s learning (consider that most school systems force students down the same learning path), Maria Montessori focused on creating a learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery. To this day, Montessori classrooms around the world encourage independent learning and nurture natural curiosity, which leads to lifelong learners.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class='attribution'>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.poetpainter.com\/thoughts\/?utm_source=twitterfeed&amp;utm_medium=twitter&amp;utm_source=The%20Rosenfeld%20Review&amp;utm_campaign=1128bfd74c-newRR_14_9_2014&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_term=0_bb5af1a472-1128bfd74c-202747017\">poetpainter<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a UX\/UI exploration of virtual platforms and environments that have engendered loyalty and passion. I keep thinking of Koster&rsquo;s Theory of Fun as I scan this text.
