We are looking for time-based or <br \/>\nkinetic works but all data-generated work will be accepted for review.<\/p>\n<p>The work should, in some way, incorporate or reflect the ODI\u2019s focus on <br \/>\ngetting value from data: social, economic, and\/or environmental. Data <br \/>\ncan be real-time or static, collected from personal or local sensors <br \/>\n(e.g. heart-rate, movement, transport systems) or online global sources <br \/>\n(e.g. stock market, air pollution, population demographics).<\/p>\n<p>We are interested in work that represents change, movement, and <br \/>\nfluctuation in data in innovative ways, abstractly or literally.<\/p>\n<p>We aim to engage at least 5 artists:<\/p>\n<p>\t\u2022 Existing or adapted works will be awarded \u00a31,000<br \/>\n\t\u2022 New commissions will receive up to \u00a33,000<\/p>\n<p>The application deadline is TIGHT &#8211; SUNDAY 28th OCTOBER, (with delivery <br \/>\nby end of November) but the application requirements are fairly simple.<\/p>\n<p>Further details here:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Data-Driven Art proposals invited for by Tim Berners-Lee&#8217;s new Open Data Institute.
