There\u2019s lots of talk about \u201ctransparency\u201d vis-a-vis the \u201csocial business\u201d, which is mostly just jargon but here it is in action.<\/p>\n<p>I also think it\u2019s likely to be good business sense &#8211; it brings the customer into the workings of the business and you can see how buying your coffee helps them. There\u2019s also a motive to return, to see how they\u2019re doing next week. (Well, if you\u2019re a data wonk like me!) The British love an underdog, so while takings are pretty tiddly like this, I think it\u2019ll make people feel more involved in the business.<\/p>\n<p>Sorry, did I say \u2018business\u2019? I meant \u2018experience\u2019. Not just a cafe, also an<a href=\"http:\/\/huntanddartoncafe.com\/about\/\"> \u201cinteractive art installation<\/a>\u201d.
