In their framework, poor people either face severe<br \/>\n data-caps that limit their access to the Internet to almost nothing, or<br \/>\n they get unlimited access to <i>some<\/i> of the Internet, thanks to Internet.org\u2019s largesse.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThat framework ignores the alternative: using the organization\u2019s might<br \/>\nand millions to fight corruption in the telco sector, demanding network<br \/>\nneutrality for everyone, not just people in rich countries.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nThe idea of \u201czero-rated\u201d services from non-neutral carriers isn\u2019t a new<br \/>\none. In countries like India, it\u2019s long been normal for carriers to<br \/>\naccept bribes to exempt certain services from data-caps.
