This is the 10th year DU’s School of Engineering and Computer Science will host the regional FIRST Robotics Competition. The FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics Competition places high school students on teams with professional engineers to build robots that must perform specific tasks. The teams not only have to design and build the robots, they must also raise funds for the project and create a team “brand.”
