The Informal Office has been working as an independent architecture studio in Bogotá since 2007. We face diversity as a profound research subject that guides our creative action; we understand it as an extended parameter (biological, cultural, political, material) determining the internal variety of a system or community.
We look forward to promoting interaction among social agents and their visibility; to have a mediating role among different lifestyles while attempting various configurations or innovative social participation procedures. Diversity as a connecting thread or common issue to work with; embracing it with astonishment is a basic rule, as well as endorsing schemes where it can subsist without falling under simplification or hegemonies.
