I wrote an essay for Archives On Fire, a special issue of Reconstruction: Studies In Contemporary Culture, an online journal. It’s long and meditates on the difficulties in archiving code drawings. The images were re-compressed several times, and so they appear in soft-focus as compared to the source images viewable on this website.
