I had each one of the clones of the line drawing sprites move to the back of the composition as it was created. each of the drawn lines has a variable speed of drawing, and each lags behind the motion of the forms in the foreground. I’m tempted to stop here with the drawings for a while. I want to get back to making games. these come so easy, though, and I can envision the next experiment as I’m working on the current one. for example, I could vary the rotation of each of the forms by ±2° as they are created to give the edges a little softness, and to see if the composition feels warmer. I haven’t decided to do that yet.
